Minor Procedures

Our clinic provides a range of procedures including skin lesion removal, suturing, ear syringing & micro ear suctioning, ingrown toe nail surgery, insertion & removal of Implanon and removal of Mirena.

Dr Cedric Lie Man Wong

Dr Cedric graduated from the University of Newcastle, NSW in 2016. He did his residency years in QLD, rotating through different hospitals on the Sunshine Coast, Mackay and Brisbane. He then completed his GP training in Toowoomba, attaining GP fellowship in early 2022. His special areas of interest include skin cancer care and minor procedures & he is currently undertaking a Master of Medicine (Skin Cancer) at UQ. His spare time is usually spent outdoors in the form of hiking, scuba diving and playing soccer. Dr Cedric is fluent in both English and French. He will only be consulting skin cancer patients at this point in time

Dr Ritesh Upadhyay

Dr Ritesh completed his MBBS in Pakistan in 2005 and got his general registration in Australia in 2008. Dr Ritesh has worked in many hospitals across Queensland including Hervey Bay and Maryborough, he also worked extensively in emergency departments at Caboolture, Prince Charles & Mater hospitals.

Dr Ritesh has a strong interest in paediatrics, chronic disease management, emergency medicine, geriatric care, skin conditions and the overall wellbeing of his patients.

Kynie

Kyine is our clinics endorsed nurse, she has been working in her field since completing her diploma of nursing since 2010.

Kynie enjoys working in general practice as there is not a day that goes by that she does not learn something new. Working in general practice also allows Kynie to build long term relationships with her patients, often seeing them grow from infancy to young adults.

In her spare time Kynie is currently studying her Bachelor of Nursing.

Nadine

Nadine has been working as a medical receptionist in the Springfield area for 14 years.

She is married with 2 sons and enjoys Pilates, trips to the beach & getting away for the weekend in her caravan

Tanya

Tanya has been working in general practice for the past 16 years, she started out as a casual receptionist and worked her way up to Practice Manager. Tanya has also undertaken a Diploma of Practice Management.

In her spare time Tanya likes to spend time with her two cats Mulder & Scully, whiskey tasting and bushwalking with her partner Steve.

Dr Sandhli Sharma

I am a fellow of RACGP and completed Emergency Medicine certificate, Sydney Hospital child health certificate, Professional certificate of skin cancer medicine and Advanced certificate of skin cancer medicine. I have recently moved from the Northern Territory after working there for 4 years including working in Psychiatry, General Medicine, Surgical Acute Care unit, Emergency Department and in mainstream GP and Aboriginal Medical Services.

Dr Tapan Paul

Dr Paul is an experienced GP who obtained MBBS in 2001. He has gained a wide range of experience in the last 20 years while working both overseas and in Australia.

Dr Paul has worked with Queensland Health at the Rockhampton, Emerald & Gladstone Hospitals and with South Australia Health at Modbury Hospital.

Degrees / Qualifications
He obtained his FRACGP DCH (Syd) in 2017.

Special interests
Dr Paul has a wide knowledge base and has special interests in Children's health, Mental Health, Chronic Disease management, Sexual Health and Family planning.

Dr Paul will be working with us every Thursday

Dr Sudeep Dhital

Dr Sudeep Dhital is a fellow of the Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. He graduated in 2004 from Kathmandu University, Nepal. He has been working in Australia since 2008. He worked as a General Practitioner for 10 years including rural and regional Australia for 8 yrs, and has experience in various aspects of general practice.

Apart from family practice, he has had additional training and experience in skin checks, skin cancer diagnosis and treatment, cosmetic moles and skin tag removal, skin cysts excisions and infusions including iron infusion.

Other than working he is very keen on mountain biking and playing soccer.

Dr Amrita Dhital

Dr Amrita Dhital is a Director at Wellness Medical and Skin Cancer Clinic. She is a fellow of Royal Australian College of General Practitioners. She has a certificate for Australian Medical Council.

After moving to Australia, she has worked in various departments in hospitals including medicine, surgery, Obs/Gynae, Paediatrics, Emergency, Rehabilitation, and Mental Health. She has been enjoying the field of General Practice since 2013.

I feel privileged as a practitioner to see a variety of patients in General Practice. Also, working in the community where I live has always been a great joy for me, as I feel I can connect to the local community and pass the message across better which in turn helps making a difference.”
